Our Programs
Human Rights
Angaza Foundation is committed to promoting human rights by offering education on rights awareness and addressing gender-based violence (GBV).
We aim to empower marginalized and vulnerable communities by building awareness of their rights and providing support systems to address violence. A key resource in this initiative is the Ufulu Wathu booklet, which serves as an important tool for educating individuals about their human rights. This booklet helps marginalized populations understand their legal rights, health services, and available support, ensuring they are informed and able to advocate for themselves.
As part of our human rights project, we focus on providing emergency support to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) from marginalized and vulnerable communities. This project includes immediate access to medical care, legal support, and safe spaces, helping survivors regain their rights and rebuild their lives. Through this comprehensive approach, we aim to reduce the stigma and barriers that survivors face, ensuring they have the necessary resources to heal and seek justice.
